What is it?
MATCHCo’s My Perfect Complexion Tinted Hydrating Formula is a completely custom makeup blended to match your unique skin tone.
Product Size, Price and Use
The 1 ounce bottle typically lasts 6-12 weeks assuming daily use, and can be applied once or several times during the day as desired.
MATCHCo’s breakthrough software was tested with hundreds of women of varying skin tones. The software normalizes indoor room light and the characteristics of each iPhone camera to give you a perfect match every time.
Warm up 1-2 pumps of your product between your fingertips and blend over your entire face. Rub in the formula as you would your moisturizer. You can layer additional product anywhere you want additional coverage. The ease of application and seamless color matching technology eliminates the need for application with a brush or sponge.
Phone Types and Models
The MATCHCo App works on iPhone models 5s and above (5S, SE, 6, 6 Plus, 6S, 6S Plus, 7 and 7 Plus). We do not support iPads or the iPod Touch.
iOS 9. MATCHCo does not support Android phones at this time but we are planning to support Android phones soon.
How does the MATCHCo App work?
The six step scanning process is simple and takes less than two minutes. Our voice guided app scans and measures your skin tone at five locations on your wrists and face, then calculates your perfect match.
Tips To Nail A Perfect Match
Before you start:
1. Remove makeup from cheeks and forehead.
2. Push back your sleeves and remove all jewelry from your wrist.
3. Pull your hair back from your face.
4. Sit at an indoor table, away from direct sunlight.
5. Place a small stack of white paper on the table.
6. Remove your phone case.
7. Turn your phone over and check the camera lens location.
While you scan:
Tap the phone flat against your skin so that camera lens makes direct contact with the targeted scanning area. The App will guide you all the way.
Will wearing makeup during the scanning process affect results?
Yes, it’s important that the App measures your unique color - not the color of your makeup.
What other factors can affect the accuracy of your scan?
Wait five minutes before scanning to allow your color to normalize after showering, washing your face, exercising, or coming in from the cold.
Can I scan my face and place an order at any time of day or night?
You can scan any time as long as you are indoors with normal indoor lighting, away from direct sunlight.
Why do I need three to five sheets of paper to scan?
The App uses the white paper to make adjustments for your individual phone and lighting conditions. We use a stack of paper to ensure the table surface does not show through and affect the phone camera calibration.
What happens to my skin scans? Where are they saved?
We save your digital scan data within your private account profile and order history.
How many times a year should I rescan?
We suggest scanning every 2-3 months to ensure your Custom Tinted Hydrating Formula is a perfect color match as your skin tone can change up to 30% per year due to varying levels of sun exposure.
What if my foundation is not a match?
We stand by our 100% Shade Match Guarantee. We are dedicated to getting each and every match correct. If your product is a mismatch mishap, or you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, please contact our customer support line for a rematch or product return. What skin type is this formula good for?
It’s good for all skin types; dry, combination and oily. The formula is oil-free, lightweight, skin nourishing and hydrating.
Is the formula safe for my skin?
Our product is scientifically tested and made with natural and botanical ingredients to care for and nourish your skin. Do you test on animals?
We do not use or support animal testing.
How do I place a reorder?
Log in to the App. Touch the three bars at the top left hand corner of any screen in the App. Select Account from the Menu. Touch the Completed Orders Link. Touch the Reorder Text Link next to any Completed Order. Your order will be added to your cart and the App will load the Order Review screen. Check your shipping address and credit card details and place your order!
What if my product arrives damaged?
Email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 1-866-668-4300, 10AM - 4PM PST Monday through Friday and we will remix and ship your order right away.
Do you accept cancellations?
Orders are processed immediately so we cannot support cancellation requests.
shipping RATES & DELIVERY
Orders placed before 1:00 pm PST Monday through Friday will be shipped the same day. Orders placed after 1:00 pm PST Monday through Friday or over the weekend will be shipped the next business day.
We provide complimentary priority mail shipping for all domestic orders. Your order ships USPS and normally arrives in 1 to 4 business days (may vary during the Holidays). Use MATCHCo Premier for a flat fee of $19.95. Your order will arrive in 1 business day if ordered before 12pm PST and in 2 business days if ordered after 12pm PST. Orders placed on a weekend arrive the following Tuesday. If you live in the Los Angeles area, our offices are in Santa Monica. You can select “Hold for Pickup” and we will email you when your order is ready.
Do you ship Internationally?
We currently accept US orders only, and cannot ship internationally.
Can you ship to PO boxes?
Yes, we can deliver to PO, FPO and DPO boxes for the same cost as delivery to a residential or business address.
What payment options are available?
We support American Express, Visa, Mastercard and Discover Cards. Customers with an iPhone 6 or above can use Apple Pay to make a purchase.
When will my card be charged?
Your card will be charged when your order ships. For in-store pickups, your card will be charged once the order is complete and ready for pickup.
How can I track my package?
You will receive an email with your USPS tracking number as soon as your order ships. If you select Hold for Pickup, you will receive an email letting you know your order is ready and containing information on pickup scheduling.
Your order delivery status and tracking number can also be found in the Current Orders section of Your Account in the App.

How do I share MATCHCo with my friends & family to participate in the program?
To share the app with your friends, touch the three bars at the top left hand corner of any screen in the App. Touch the Spread the Word link. Touch the Spread the Word Button on the Referral Program screen. You can share MATCHCo with your friends via Text Message, Facebook, Pinterest, WhatsApp, and email.
Can I combine multiple credits towards one purchase?
Yes, you can. If five of your friends make a purchase, your next MATCHCo order is completely free!
Can I use my credits and a promo code for one order?
Absolutely. You can combine your referral credits and any other MATCHCo promo codes.
Do I only get a credit if it is my friend’s first MATCHCo purchase?
Yes. In order to qualify for your $10 credit, it must be your friend’s first purchase with MATCHCo.
What do I need to do to redeem my credits?
Nothing, you’re good to go! When you share the link with your friends, it’s tied to your account. When they complete their first order, you will receive a credit for $10. The credit will be applied to your next MATCHCo order.
Do you sell your products at other retailers?
MATCHCo is available exclusively through our iPhone app or in person at our MATCHCo Lab located in downtown Santa Monica, CA. You can schedule an appointment to come in and purchase your product, or purchase via the App and schedule a time to pickup at our store.
Do you offer promotions?
Yes. If you have a promo code, you can enter it in the discount field on the Order Review Screen. The total order amount will be reduced by the amount of the discount.
